Mimi went to the makeup trailer. She had her own little space to change in, but there was still a heavy layer of pancake on her face that she wanted to wipe off before she left. Even though she was done, the show still had a few hours left of filming before they could wrap the day’s shoot.

Devin and Mallory were sitting there, preparing for their scenes. They looked up and smiled when they saw her.

“Mimi, hey!” Mallory said brightly. “How’s it going?”

“Pretty good. I’m glad I’ve wrapped for the day.”

“Ugh, we have so many hours to go. They’re behind on the filming.”

Mimi envied their problems. At least they knew they would still get to be actors in the coming weeks.

“I heard you broke up with Brad Stone. Are you okay?”

“Oh, yeah,” she said. “It was all made up anyway. We share the same agent. Well, we do now anyway. It was something she pressured us to do.”

“Not all of it was made up, I hope,” Mallory said. “Brad Stone is a cutie.” She giggled.

Devin leaned closer. “I heard it wasn’t even you in the tape, that it was Cameron Hope. My agent works at the same agency as Shari Stringer. He said that there’s a little daisy tattoo on the woman’s ankle that matches the one Cameron has. They’re whispering about it all over town.”

“I can’t really comment on that. I think it’s part of my contract, but let’s just say … I don’t have any tattoos,” Mimi told them. “Whatever it is, I’m just glad to be done with it. It’s kind of frustrating that the whole world only cares about me because they think I’m hooking up with Brad Stone. They’re already killing me off on Vampire Falls. And they’ve passed on me for Vipers.”

Devin just laughed. “It’s Catherine and Tate. They change their minds every five minutes. Watch them bring Stephanie back to life and make her one of the leads before the season ends.”

“And they still want you for Vipers. The character they want you to play is sick,” Mallory said. “She’s from a rival school and causes all this drama, then ends up joining the squad and has to deal with the repercussions of the shit she’s stirred up.” Mallory smiled. “We’re going to have so many good scenes together.”

“Screw Brad Stone. You’re in this town for good, and you can generate plenty of awesome publicity on your own. In fact …” Devin motioned for Mallory to move closer. “Let’s do something for your Insta.”

Devin spun Mimi around in her chair, and the two actresses stood on either side of her. They motioned for a makeup artist to move closer.

“Trisha, can you help us? Here, give her your phone.”

Mimi handed over the device. The actresses smiled, and she couldn’t help but to laugh, forming the perfect shot. Mimi looked to the camera, impressed.

“Here, give me that.” Devin took Mimi’s phone and began tapping on the screen.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m posting it on your social meads right now with the caption ‘Girls get it done.
